Purpose in Agriculture

Green Care Careers aims to modernize vocational agricultural education by integrating sustainability, mental well-being, and social responsibility. It will develop a new curriculum, open educational resources, and micro-credentials aligned with ECVET. A roadmap with recommendations and practical examples will support implementation across Europe.
The project enhances the attractiveness of agricultural careers, aligning training with labor market needs, EU Green Deal goals, and digital learning. The project will begin with teacher training in design thinking, open pedagogy, and digital learning to support the co-creation of a Green Care curriculum. Partners will collaborate to develop structured learning modules and create open educational resources, ensuring accessibility and relevance. A micro-credential system will be designed to align with ECVET. A roadmap with practical recommendations will be developed, while extensive dissemination efforts will promote adoption across Europe.
The project will deliver a comprehensive Green Care curriculum and open educational resources that equip vocational students with skills in sustainable agriculture and well-being-oriented business models. Trained teachers will apply innovative methods to make vocational education more engaging. The introduction of micro-credentials will enhance student mobility and employability. The roadmap will provide clear guidance for integrating Green Care into vocational training across Europe.
